Rafael has worked for AES for eight years and started his journey as a maintenance intern at the Ibitinga hydro plant. After the internship ended, he was hired as a Maintenance Planning Technician. After two years, he was hired as an Operation Management Technician at the Generation and Locks Operations Center (COGE), where he remained for another five years. He is currently a Planning and Data Analyst with the Finance team.

He says that AES is a school that allows its people to develop both personally and professionally, particularly in his experience where he was able to both change and grow in different career paths.
