AES Brasil is among the largest power generation companies in Brasil with a long-standing commitment to the country’s energy future that extends nearly 20 years. Our power generation park is comprised of nine large and three small hydroelectric plants in the State of São Paulo, which provide a combined 2,658 MW of installed capacity and 1,278 MW guaranteed capacity, as well as a concession in effect until 2029.

As part of our strategy to expand and diversify the country’s energy mix with clean, reliable energy, we’re continuing to add renewable energy to our portfolio, including the 386 MW Alto Sertão II wind farm in Bahia, the 91 MW Boa Hora solar project, and the Bauru solar project in the State of São Paulo.
